Talas (
Overview[]
This spell draws upon the power of the War-God Yng Wie to turn targets into stone, and can't be undone by normal spells that remove petrification. However, skilled sorcerers may undo the petrification so long as nothing important is missing from the statue's body, and if they know the source of the spell's power.[1][2][3]

History[]
Kai Harn uses this spell to trap Dark Schneider, and attempt to kill him.[4] D.S. would break out of the Talas spell when Kai Harn slips up, and accidentally reveals what High Ancient god she follows, allowing D.S. to negate it.[1]
After joining the Samurai, Kai attempts to use this spell to defeat Sorcerer Shoguns member Yngwei von Mattström, during a Samurai raid on the village of Denis to help the villagers reclaim food supplies. Yngwei however would break through it with brute force.[5]
