Archangels are the 8th of 9 ranks of Angels.
Overview[]
Of the three major hierarchies of Angels, Archangels are the second ranked of the Third Sphere. They, along with the Principatus, and regular Angels, who also exist in this sphere, are the Angels responsible for dealing directly with the world of man.[1]
Archangels are born when regular Angels increase their divine power leading to a metamorphosis.[1]
Michael was once an Angel of this rank.[1]

Archangels look like very muscular humans with wings, and clad in silver armor.[1]
Powers and Abilities[]
Compared to regular Angels, Archangels are twice as strong, and have developed language skills enough to speak normally.[1]
